Lawrence Corbett, Fox Manor’s owner, has been passionate about guns since he was young.  As a teenager he shot in US Department of Civilian Marksmanship youth programs.  His interest in precision shooting continued after high school when he joined the United State Marine Corps and served as a Marksmanship Coach. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marines, Lawrence transitioned to active duty with the NYS Army National Guard.  There, he was trained as a Small Arms Master Gunner and represented New York at national shooting competitions.

In civilian life, Lawrence has enjoyed numerous shooting sports including High Power Rifle, I-CORE and Trap.  He is an avid collector of vintage and antique firearms, with a focus on World War II infantry rifles  as well as American and Continental double barrel shotguns.
